Three days later, daytime. A small annex inside the palace. A low table spread with red cloth before the door. / The two of them before the wedding table. Behind them the Queen Dowager and Sol-i (out of focus). — Three days after the audience. A small annex inside the palace. It was a wedding Yeonhwa decided on herself — a private one. The investiture is not yet. There were only two people watching. The Queen Dowager, and Sol-i.
Yeonhwa. Laughing — lightly, half teasing. She presses down the nerves of the wedding day with a joke. / Yi Heon, his cup held at chest height. Slow and warm. — Yeonhwa: "Anything else you've hidden, besides being king?" Yi Heon: "There will be nothing I keep from you."
(hands) As his hand sets the cup on the cloth his fingertips waver and it makes a small sound. / Yeonhwa seeing it. Almost a whisper, with a small laugh in it. — a click Yeonhwa: "Are you nervous?"
Yi Heon. The corner of his mouth lifts — a small, real smile. A little embarrassed. — Yi Heon: "This time I fear being refused."

Yeonhwa from the front. Resolve — clear, with the laugh still in it. — Yeonhwa: "Then I will." Yeonhwa: "This time I choose knowing."

The Queen Dowager to the head court lady. Briefly. / (new) The two of them with the red table between. The jade ring at Yeonhwa's throat. Light. — Queen Dowager: "Begin preparing the investiture." The marriage is done. The investiture — not yet. The days begin in which she is the king's wife with no rank. I sat facing the man who began with a beggar's rice bowl, and this time I knew.
That evening, the Yun main hall. One lamp. An empty table. / Chaeryeong, who has heard of the marriage. To a servant (seen from behind). Thinning — high and thin, cornered. — That evening, the Yun main hall. Chaeryeong: "My sister went to the palace. Where do I go?"
On Chaeryeong's face to the end. There is no answer. — No one answered.
