She is cast as Kim Mi-jeong in “The Monster You Raised”. Preparing a character centered on conversations and relationships within a family, she approaches even short everyday scenes so that the flow of feeling carries through.
The closer people are, the less they explain every feeling in words. She looks at the relationships through small choices, like changing what she was about to say on seeing the other person's face, or continuing a sentence while handing something over.
Rather than revealing a feeling all at once, she weighs the way everyday actions gradually change. Asking the same question at a different speed and changing the length of the breath while waiting for an answer, she adjusts the temperature of a scene.
